Library Services
The Library is part of the Whiteside Taylor Center. It
is situated between the Fritz Farm Community Center
and the Red Barn.
Borrow from a wide range of Fiction and Nonfiction
books, as well as Magazines, Music CD's, Talking
Books and Videos/DVDs for both Adults and Junior
members.
MEMBERSHIP:
Library membership is free to all residents of Baie
D'Urfé, and each member may borrow up to 6 items
for 3 weeks.
FINES:
Overdue Adult material is fined $0.10 per day per item
with a maximum of $5.00
Overdue Children's material is fined $0.05 per day per
item with a maximum of $3.00
HOURS:
The library is open 7 days a week. It is not open on
public holidays, nor on Sundays during the summer.
Information about closings is posted in the Library.
BOOK RETURN:
When the library is closed, books may be returned by
using the Book Box at the building's front entrance.
OTHER SERVICES:
High-speed Internet and a photocopier are available.
Material may be Reserved at the Front Desk or by
phone. Members may also renew material by phone.
VOLUNTEERS:
The Town of Baie D'Urfé prides itself on its vast
number of community volunteers, and the library is
part of this volunteer network. The library welcomes
